Bee Pure Candles

I love burning candles! It has become an obsession of mine, to the point that I burn candles for hours on end every day. One day, I decided to unwind by burning a store-bought soy wax candle. I noticed the candle was emitting a rather obnoxious black smoke and thought that there must be something better.

I researched and sourced the cleanest, purest waxes to create my candles, free of black smoke, and embarked on a journey of passion and dedication to crafting the ultimate candle experience.

It all starts with my triple-filtered, pure white beeswax, produced by bees from a small U.S. apiary. Beeswax has a subtle, natural honey scent! This beeswax is paired with organic coconut oil to achieve a slower burn rate, and the candles are naturally primed with cotton or crackling cedar wood wicks, free of harmful metals, ensuring their quality.

I hand-pour my pure white beeswax into upcycled, hand-cut tequila bottles to make my glass candles one-of-a-kind expressions. My pinecone and honeycomb candles are made using reusable molds. I can also customize your order with a variety of pure essential oils in different scents. All my candles use USA-made cotton wicks, but I can create yours with crackling wood wicks if you’d like.

About Bee Pure Candles

Lovingly hand-poured pure white beeswax that is slowly melted in small batches and then hand-poured into hand-cut upcycled tequila bottles, with no two bottles the same.  The burn rates range from 50 to 80 hours.

My pure white beeswax comes from a small U.S. apiary that has been naturally bleached by wind and sun and is also triple-filtered for purity. My beeswax candles are made using 100% pure essential oils, which are then blended with 2 ounces of organic coconut oil.

The coconut oil is used to provide a much more consistent, slow-burning rate and does not impart a coconut scent. All essential oils are natural. I also use naturally beeswax-dipped cotton wicks attached to pre-tabs, free of any harmful metals, offering a variety of scents to choose from.

Benefits of Beeswax Candles vs. Traditional Soy-Based Candles

Lower Toxicity: Because beeswax candles are all natural, they do not produce toxic byproducts and heavy soot when burned. Some types of candles produce minute traces of chemicals known to be carcinogenic; however, this is not a concern with beeswax candles.

Neutralizing Pollutants: Beeswax candles produce negative ions when burned, which help neutralize pollutants in the air. This helps eliminate dust, odors, and mold in the atmosphere, easing allergy and asthma symptoms and improving breathing for anyone nearby.

Relaxation: The simple act of burning a candle has relaxing properties and can aid in stress relief and meditation. The mildly sweet, natural honey scent of beeswax candles can aid in relaxation without being overwhelming, unlike artificially scented candles, which can become overpowering.

Safety: Because beeswax candles are all-natural and produce no byproducts, they are naturally dripless when used correctly, making them safer to burn. This avoids the risk of burns and other injuries that can result from improperly burning different types of candles.

Light: Beeswax candles have the brightest, purest light of any candles and are closest to natural sunlight. If the candles are to be used as a light source, this can help minimize eye strain and reduce headaches.

Candle burn times vary from 50 to 80+ hours, or approximately 5 hours per ounce of wax. I use only pure, all-natural ingredients in the making of my candles. My beeswax candles are mixed with 100% pure essential oils, which are cold-processed and made in the USA.
